OAK VIEW – Coming off a windy and rainy season opener, the California Bass Federation Region 7 will be hosting it’s second tournament of the 2004 season Saturday, March 6th at Lake Casitas.

Last season Region 7 held two events at Casitas in April and June and in both events only two limits were weighed, to say the least…fishing was tough. But it’s the tough tournaments that truly define us as anglers; these tournaments force one to focus and work harder for each bite. These are the tournaments that allow one to truly shine like Brian Day did last year weighing an incredible 20.5 lbs sack with a 12.39 kicker fish.

Entries for the second stop in the 2004 season are due to the tournament director by March 1, 2004 before 5:00 PM. Non boaters are welcome to send there entries in with out a boater, Boaters are however encouraged to find a non boater to guarantee them the use of their boat. Check in will be at 5:30 AM at the Coyote Ramp, however should the lake not be open in time check in will be at the main gate.
