Got a later start than what I had expected. Shadow and I didn't get to M st til about 7. But didn't really fish til about 7:30. Once we got to where we wanted to fish, the bass came pretty consistently. Total for me were 16 basses (3 sandies and 13 spotties). Shadow had a total of 7 basses (1 sandy and 6 spotties). The spotties averaged 11-13". Not very big but still tons of fun. They are hard fighters. The biggest spotty was probably around 1.5 - 2lb. We had a couple of doubles. Also we missed about the same amount of bass to short bites and quick releases.
