Whadda ya get when you mix a slump and a redtide. 1 short sand bass, that's what. It was really slow. Steve finished with one keeper and a short. And he dragged squid the last hour.
Water was a nice 64 or so, wind was of and on, not so hard. Tide was ripping for the first 2 hours and then died. I spent and hour fishing the big stuff. This only got my pants pulled down a few times. So I switched over to some small stuff with the same results. Oh well, I still think that once the redtide leaves the winter sand bassing should be starting.
Question for the bio minded. Does water temp play a big roll in redtide?
