never thought about it...is there a DIY online? Not too excited about breaking down a $300 reel with a small possibility that I might not be able to put it back together =) -Nate

haha...i know I've been trying to get rid of some! Oliver, do you know how to swap out gears in a calais? I'm assuming it's similar to a curado, and I've done that partially before. -Nate

they are really pretty much the same as any other baitcaster, the tricky part is getting them open. have fun trying to get that screw out! Dane
