Hey Gang,Here is the story (short version) My Dad bought a Mercury 40 HP 4-Stroke motor back in 2007, it was shortly after he bought it that he got sick. He was only able to use the boat two times before he passed away. This boat has less than ten hours on it. Mom has asked me to sell it (the motor only, the boat and trailer have already been sold). Its literally a turn key motor, it comes with the controls (has a remote trim/tilt right on the control,gas tank, battery and also has connections for adding gauges ie temp. At the time of purchase Dad opted for the extended warranty, it is transferrable and is good thru 9/26/12. This is a sweet motor. When the folks bought this they paid 6400.00 for it, I am asking 3900 obo. It has the long shaft. I have all the paperwork that they had plus the manuals and two keys. I have the motor set up in my garage if you would like to hear it run.
