Stardust 3/4 day
Santa Rosa Island

Headed over to the islands this morning with flat calm conditions. Our first few stops in the shallower water were pretty good to us, producing some very nice reds and a lot of other mixed rockfish.

We stayed fairly located in one general area today that seemed to have good fish readings and willing participants for our fish counts. Some drifts were slower then others but we caught fish off every stop today. The current and winds were very slow and stable all day and we saw that the water clarity has improved from recent trips.

For our 27 anglers today we caught 270 rockfish and 7 lingcod. The stardust still has some spots open for tomorrow's 3/4 trip. We have a SUPER LIGHT LOAD for Monday's 3/4 day trip, it is a go. Feel free to book spots now for upcoming trips on our website or call the Sea landing at 805-963-3564.

Coral Sea 1/2 Day trip

Absolutely flat calm beautiful weather on our half day trip today folks.

We left the dock this morning with 16 anglers on board and headed out to the deeper water for the start of our day and found a few spots that had very nice marks but we couldn't get anything to bite all that well. After trying 5 or 6 separate stones we changed gears and headed shallower. After some looking around we found a small area that wanted to participate and we were able to steadily pick at Reds, coppers, brown rockfish and a few other assorted fishes.

Our group was very laid back and had a great time enjoying the weather and nice scenery. For the day we ended up with 115 Reds, 31 misc.rockfish, 1 sheepshead, 3 whitefish and 1 Lingcod.

The Coral Sea needs a few more reservations for tomorrows 1/2 Day trip to get off the dock and the Stardust is 3/4 Day fishing with room available. Please call Sea Landing at 805 963-3564 for reservations or visit our website to book online.
