HI all,
heres the deal,i have 2 days coming up the following weekend and i can travel to fish from anywere south san fran to l.a. ,i have access to a boat and lots of different tackle,if you could go werever you wanted in - between those 2 areas were would you go and why? this can also include areas in the mother lode region and bakersfield area.I'm jonesing for a day on the water to remember,either in numbers or size im not picky.I always catch and release the bassy guys and only keep a trout or 2 for dinner when i'm camping.feel free to give me your 2 cents ,i have an open weekend and those dont come by to easily for me .thanks a ton in advance!I promise to give back info as it has been given to me in this group .this forum has never gone to shiz in any way!

If you're a tuber, I'd head for the Kickboat Open at Clear Lake(May 14 and 15). But definitely don't come over here by Bakersfield. These lakes kinda stink. Unless you wanna hit up the crappie at Isabella.

if you're going to make a long drive come to Isabella, otherwise fish local or semi-local...

the crappie at isabella is WFO, just bring UL gear and white minijigs. and possibly crappie nibblets to tip the jigs with.
