Hi everyone,

I am not the worlds best fisherman, but with my little experience, in rivers, lakes, and streams, I have found that 3am and during a drizzling rain has been my best weather and time to catch the bigger cats.

I remember when I was 12 years old and playing hooky from school, I laid back on an old cottonwood tree stump to fish. Had no poll so I tied the string around my big toe.

An 8lb cat hit the line and the string tightened like a hangman’s noose and almost took my toe off. I had a hard time explaining that to mom when I got home.

Catching an 8 lber on line and toe? Wow! How funny! :7
Never really went much in the rain or winter for cats. But I do remember catching a 3 lber in the rain. Although, I think i am gonna try this winter for cats in the CA duct.

The funny part about that story is that it is a true story!
