I went fishing with my pops. We got there at 3pm. We had short bites for the first 1 1/2 hours. I decided to move around trying different spots. Until, I found a better spot. I caught a nice 23 incher on shrimp. A worm got the small fries (3 released). I lost another nice one. It was on for a short time but, I felt the weight every time it pulled away. Oh well, next time he will be a little bit bigger. My dad caught 2 of the small fries.
I gotta get a small (pocket-sized) digital camera. Any one know of a good quality one at a good price?

Ooppss! Catfish is what we were catching. We were near Munz Ranch Rd. Which is near Lake Elizabeth. This is my dad's spot. It's good so I gotta go back.
I went today in the afternoon to the 300th St. spot. I caught 1 catfish & a friend of mine caught 4 catfish. They were all small (12 - 14 in.) except for 1 of them (17 in.). They were slow to the chew. Still not wide open yet. Maybe in late April.

Do any of you fish where the 138 crosses the aquaduct between Quail L. and the 14? Sometimes when I'm going to San Bernardino, I'll stop there. A few times it's been good (14# Kitty) and a few it hasn't. Tight lines, Wade
