Kyle,

It's your lucky day. I happen to have been fishing SanV a lot this year. I've got a tip for you. Tie on a big swimbait...preferably the Eagle. Throw it all day. Fish it fast, and right at the surface. Fish the Island, North Point, the back of Toll Road, and the back of Kimball.

Also, look for the sight fish. If it's calm, I guarantee you all the fish haven't spawned yet. I caught a big one on a bed two weeks ago. Don't be fooled to think they are done spawning.

Plastics are always good there...8" chocolate blue vein.

If you don't have any big swimbaits or trout plugs...beg and plead with a friend to hook you up with some. I'm dying to go there myself, but have to concentrate on El Capitan for a tournament.

Matt
