Saturday the 27th, I'm going to take my kickboat out for Halibut. It seems there have been some bigger ones caught lately. If you'd like to join me leave a reply here. I'll probably launch at dawn weather permitting.

please elaborate on recent reports. How deep were they caught? How big are these guys?

I've read/heard about 6 in the last 2 weeks over 15#s. Along with 7 more under that. Depths have ranged from in the surf to 85' with most coming in the 10 to 30' range as near as I can figure out. Some info has been sketchy, as usual, but it looks promising. Some of these may have been the same fish twice from 2 diferent sources.
