Me and my son fished a beach by the name of Arroyo Burro in Santa Barbara on Saturday for perch. We were set up by the nice folks down at Harbor Tackle with some motor oil grubs that were garenteed to work. We fished from 12:30-3:00 and had a blast. The bite picked up at about 2pm when the tide seemed to be coming in. The fish varried in size from about 6inches to some getting as large as 13". The beach was a great perching spot. Thanks again guys for the hot tips, the boy is hooked on fishing now.

Now that's a great report. I can't wait until my boy is old enough to go with me. At 2 he's a little too much of a handfull. Glad your boy had a blast, which of course means you did too.
