I am heading out tomarrow. Probably hit the Delta in my boat, got an open back seat if anyone is intrested.
This is the weather warning from the National Weather Service for this weekend:
HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE WEST COAST THAT BROUGHT THE FAIR SKIES AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL BE MAKING AN EXODUS TONIGHT AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC MOVES INLAND. THIS WILL BRING MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND MUCH COOLER TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS THE LIKELIHOOD OF SHOWERS THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND. NOT ONLY ARE SHOWERS EXPECTED OVER THE INTERIOR OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA...THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO BRING ENOUGH INSTABILITY FOR A GOOD CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ON SATURDAY...ESPECIALLY THROUGHOUT THE SACRAMENTO AND NORTHERN SAN JOAQUIN VALLEYS AND FOOTHILLS. THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS ARE EXPECTED TO SEE AT LEAST A LITTLE SNOWFALL. AT THIS POINT...RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE EXCESSIVE BUT LOCALIZED SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS MAY BRING BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVIER RAINFALL OR HAIL.
If you are out on the water this weekend be aware that lightnig is a possiblity.
