Don't know how this guy got my e-mail address, but I figured I'd share it with y'all, just in case you might be interested in some SALTWATER action! ('Belmont Shores' is apparently in the Long Beach, CA area?):

Hello Jeff,

Just a reminder or an invite if you don't know that www.baytubers.com is having a tournament this Sunday the 13th . We are meeting at 7am and launching at 7:30am at our Belmont Shores location. Take a look at the rules and regulations on the website if you haven't yet. Please Email me if you think you will be there so we can have an idea of who's coming. Thanks!

Hope to see you there,

Kiyo

Jeff,

If you click on the 'Contact' option on BnT's home page, you'll find your e-mail address. This is probably how these people and others have found you.

Yup. Belmont Shore is the beach community in Long Beach. I used to live there. But back then there were only a few of us tubing the harbor. Now you've got baytuber and floattuber running events right out in front of my old pad. It's fairly good fishing for halibut and small bass. A few corbina are caught too.

I spent most of my teenage years on the sand in front of the boardwalk between 63rd Street and 72nd Street. And when I was just a wee-one, my mommie took us kids to Cherry Beach and the Colorado Lagoon. Do those names ring a bell?

Did most of my fishing in those 'early years' with my dad on his 45' fishing boat that he used for charters. But I still can't catch a largemouth,... go figure. Maybe I've just been fishing for too long.

NOT!!
