#11331, "Mitch Teman pulls ahead in Angler of the Year"
After Mitch's win at the SCBBBC Invite Mitch Teman slides ahead of Joey Castro by less then 1 pound of the Angler of the Year race. With one event left at Rancho Seco this big dog lake could make it interesting. I one for will want to be there just to see a new Angler of the Year for 2002. Here are the top 5 standings YTD
Angler Weight Mitch Teman 74.41lbs Joey Castro 73.46lbs Paul Mibach 54.85lbs John Lake 47.23lbs Mark Serrano 45.38lbs

Who would have ever guessed! I suppose missing Clear Lake has cost those two guys pretty drastically. And who's this Serrano character??? :D He wins one Clear Lake event, & just keeps showing up at the top! And Paul "Throw a FIT" Mibach, continuing to bring in the big dogs. These darn 'newbies' are KILLIN' me! (I guess I should toss you back my 'Most Improved' plaque -- I'm no longer worthy of the distinction)!
(Way to go guys -- glad to see it's not just the same old faces up there at the top! I just wish someday it could be ME!!!) :-(
