#15357, "Kickboat Crutch"

Had some time on my hands, so I made a "crutch" to help me get my kickboat around. I've only used it in the driveway, but it seems to work fine. The whole project, including wheels, only cost about $30 or $35. I ran hollow metal tube inside the pvc for support and to mount the wheels. I had to drill 2 small holes in the footrests, but I don't think it will be a problem. The crutch releases below the footrests via quick release pins. (The yellow screwdrivers were just to test it until I get 2 more pins tomorrow). All you have to do is attach the crutch to the footrests (with pins), lift up the back, and push it. I might even try and add a third wheel a little farther back on a swivel?

I like the simple design, can you give me some more detail as far as where you got the wheels and metal tubes? Is that 1/2"PVC? I'd like to make one for myself, thanks.

Dave, give me a little time (I'm at work) and I'll make a list of what I used and put up a couple of pics too. I got the wheels from harbor freight. In their clearance section online for $4.99 each. They still have some I just looked.
