Hey Swampy did you hit quarry last weekend if so how was it. I am concidering going there. If not you just might see me at the cliffs.


Does anyone know how the weed groth is right now at Shadow cliffs?

I heard from a guy who walks his dog at s.c.He said the weeds are pretty much gone from the little beach area but he hasn't gone by the bridge yet.I'm thinking it will still have weeds in the channel but they shouldn't be too bad.

ps.I went last sat to the quarries and the smallies were hitting shallow(1-2')I got a couple on a popper and a couple on grubs.

I got bitten last weekend by the MS slammer bug.
I'm looking into buying the perfect rod and reel combo this week.

Weekend before last gave me a 26" on topwater and several other blow-ups from the canals, including a roughly 35"er that spit the hook on his second jump.

I will be out on the Delta Saturday, most likely out of Whites at the rock slab...I did pretty good there this time of year last year and Castro says it is good right now, I haven't been there in a couple of months so I need to get back out there. If anyone wants to hook up let me know. Low tide is about 10:00 am or so, I plan on showing up around 6:00..give or take 30 minutes.
