.....I am thinking about launching out of harris creek and camping there as well. So we can have 2 options to decide on for future events there

OK so which shore is Harris Creek located on?

near the dam...but its a wooded creek with some rocks to fish as well.

I was told that no reservation are needed, it is shoreline camping.

Here's a link to the aerial photo of Harris creek. If you zoom in you can see all the wood in the water near the end of the creek. Looks good to me! :-)

It is very close to Naci, just a bit closer to King City.

about 30 minutes south of King City it is loaded with smallies, largies and even some striped critters

They also have sun fish
