I haven't been there in about 13 years. When I was there the fishing wasn't very good. I spent 3 days flailing the water for nothing and yes I know what I'm doing. I was told that the lake hadn't been stocked in 3 years and there isn't any natural trout propagation. There were a few very old Brown trout estimated at a SKINNY 4+# with big heads and snaky bodies. They followed some of my casts in but would turn aside 15 to 20' out when they saw me through the very clear water. Things may have changed, so call ahead and find out before you make plans. If you want to go to a beautiful OR. lake and catch memorable Big Browns and Rainbows you might try Greers Ferry lake somewhere not too near to Bend, OR.

Tight Lines,
Wade
