I'm thinking about getting SOSpenders. Ultimately I'd like the auto model for in my boat, but the manual model for tubing. I know the auto model has a manual pull, but can you disable the auto feature - i.e. remove the bobbin, or replace it something that won't disolve in water so they become a purely manual model?
