Sorry I lagged so long, but it took a little research... At this time, emails are best directed to Sean Hastings at sean.hastings@noaa.gov for comments on the Channel Islands Marine Reserves, currently being discussed. However, to be honest, at this late in the game, the main impact on what's going to happen will come at the meetings. Public comment through the SAC right now, is, IMO probably not being taken into consideration. As soon as I find out the DFG email that we're supposed to send emails to, I'll post. Right now, direct, in person comments to people in charge (or are represented on the DFG, or perhaps the SAC) would probably be the best bet. I know the Fishing Working Group is going to be meeting soon, so I'll post that date as well as soon as I find it out. This group gathers information as far as how both the commercial and recreational fishermen want to be represented on the SAC (since there's only one seat for both commerical, and recreational).
