My friend is the GM at a golf course in San Diego and at this course they have a small pond, which is apparently loaded with big bass. Although no one is allowed to fish in it, he decided it would be ok if I try my luck in it this weekend. I am just curious what you experienced bass fishermen would suggest for bait. I can't bring a tackle box because I am supposed to be low key about it. I would appreciate any suggestions.
