Saddleback creek? I dont think there are fish in there....in fact i do not beleive that is even a creek. Trabuco Creek has bass...however I only know of one spot. I have not fished further up towards RSM but I have heard of a few holes with a few fish up there. If you are going to fish trabuco creek, dont expect much as fish come and go. Last time I fished it(6months or so ago) I caught absolutly nothing and saw no sign of fish, not even sunfish. A year ago I caught no bass, but caught one suprise which was quite cool(lets just say it was a very rare/endangered fish for this region, especially in that creek). Before that trip I used to fish a spot quite frequently on trabuco creek and managed to catch a few bass and sunfish. when i first started fishing it about 3 years ago I would catch tons of small bass and big sunfish on flies. since then the fishing has gone down hill, as i was catching less and less fish each time. this is probably due to the lack of shelter from birds and the development of land surrounding the area, not to mention some punk kids who kept some fish. So in the end, if i were you, I would try some places other than trabuco creek, as it seems to be fished out. all this talk makes me want to go check my spot though. I will let you know what it looks like.
