Hit Castaic for the late evening bite. In the water at 3pm headed out to Old Outhouse cranked & worked plastics. No luck on the cranks but a few hits on the plastics. Wind was pretty steady with some strong gusts, hard to maintain the boat so decided to hit Goverment Cove on the opposite side of the Fishing arm in hopes to get some shelter from the wind. As soon as my cousin casts out his worm he nails a 1.5lber. We ended up staying there the rest of the day for 9 fish biggest being about 3lbs. Out of the water by 7:45pm. Sorry to say I wasn't able to get any on the cranks, plastics were the ticket.
