#15000, "Lake Los Carneros - April 2005 - Quick Report"

Fished Lake Los Carneros in Goleta a couple times in the past week with a few friends. Lots of fish on the weightless Assalt stuff (Salt Shakers, Salt Stix & even Ringers), brown and orange crankbaits and 3 inch Big Hammers (Fongfish, Senorita, Reef Kritter) doing pretty well also, even a couple fish on buzzbaits and one on a fly. Most fish have been in the 10 - 15 inch range.

Last night was my 4 year old son's first time in a float tube. Just tied it off to my tube and towed him around. He got his first "official" bass (from cast to catch) on the 5 inch Junebug colored Salt Shaker Worm fished weightless (wacky rig).
