Was there monday.Bass are in rocky areas 15 to 25 feet deep. Drop shot or heavy jig best. Crappie are in flats 10 to 15 feet deep, fish flats that taper off into deep water. The water is almost normal for Lopez. Trout bite is good, caught four back by the creek in Lopez arm. I was bass fishing but after catching a trout on a crank swithed to spinners for three more. Had to work for the fish but they are biting if you get your bait in the right places. Me and my partner ended up catching two redear, three bass, four trout, twenty crappie, oh and one chub! All in all not a bad day but not wide open either. (Maddog) Which way to the lake, pond, creek, mudpuddle, whatever!
