I want to plan a trip up to Santa Margarita. When would be the best time to plan a trip for quantity. I have never fished this lake before, so I also need to know some ares to try. I have a lake map, so if you can name off some areas I will know where to try. What colors would you recommend for plastics, jigs, & whatever else I should take?

Also is Margarita a better lake then Lopez for quantity or is Lopez a better lake? Which is easier to fish?
