I thought that might have been you. I was going to go down and say hello. Were you in a black tube with a rodholder on the left side?That's wierd that they told you to stay in the marina cove. I've been on the other side of the lake several times and had the game warden just look at me and keep going. When ever I decide to cross I find the thinnest part of the lake so I can get across quickly. My main concern is also to stay out of the way of boats.
BTW the bass that I caught came from a 5" bighammer swimbait. Anglers outpost has several different colors and fishco heads for them. That bass and the other ones that followed the stocker trout were all on steep rock banks with weeds still on them. Although with the rain we're getting who knows what they'll be doing next week. We have a 90% chance of rain tommorow. I'm still debating on whether I should go throw plugs in the middle of it.-Phil
