Well guys, took my trip down the river on Saturday. The fish have spawned, and there are thousands of fry everywhere, then a few feet over from them are the monthlys 2-3 inches long, lot of them. Smallies and largemouth. So you can be expecting a great fishing year down that river this year!!! I did try thowing spinner bait, but hit absolutly nothing, so I pulled off to a few banks and saw all the fry. I suggest to anyone who loves small mouth to try this river. there's not anyone fishing on it, that I see, only from the banks. Anyone interested in going, my husband is always willing to take anyone who wants to go. We have a 14 foot Free Spirit Canoe that holds three comfortably, so just e-mail me and let me know, this is a GREAT river and vertually not overly fished by any means, especially certain areas.
