I fished Calero this weekend. Since this is the only lake in Santa Clara County that is open for boats, the water skiers were out both days. Its funny to hear these guys screaming when they jump into the 60F water and freeze !!

Inspite of the skiers, the weather and fish cooperated with me, and I got 14 fish on Sat. in 6 hrs and 6 fish on Sun. in 4 hrs. Nothing big, all schoolie-cookie cutter sized fish from 1 to 2 1/2 lbs. Jigging 4" worms and spoons on the outside edges of the baitfish schools continues to work for me. I just need to find a school of bigger fish....
