#9486, "Depth of Bass in MV Lake."
|
Ok, I'm not sure if this is even a valid question, but hopefully, it's at least a topic of discussion. :)
I read something by a bass pro (Jay Yelas, I think) who said bass are pretty much a shallow water fish. How shallow, he never said. I just take that to mean "leave your deep-riggers at home". ;)
Anyways, since I mostly fish in Lake MV (hey, it's 3 minutes away and paid for) I was wondering just how deep I should go before I start wasting my time (not like I haven't wasted enough time there already)?? x(
In other words, provided the lake isn't stratified (which it rarely is since they run the aerator once a month), will I find bass all the way down to 60'+ or am I better of concentrating at the 20' level?? 30' level???
Thanks for any info and your points of view on the subject.
