Check out the Santa Anna River Lakes and Irvine Lake. They are both "pay to enter" lakes, but I have heard they produce big cats. I don't do a whole lot of catfishin. Try posting on the Sandiego Fish board ( http://www.sdfish.com/cgi-bin/fishboard.pl ) and I'm sure you'll get a much better response from the So. California group. Good luck. Oh yeah... then try bass fishing, it's much more gratifying!
