Thanks for the tips. Yes, I have a boat but have had limited success with the stripers except on anchovies at the dam during the summer. Hired a guide in Oct. who turned me on to the live shad and we were knee-deep in bass all day with 5 or 6 schoolie size stripers as well. I really want to hook into one of those monsters on a plug. I'll try the spots you mentioned. Do you have a favorite lure?
