Yikes what a cold day up there! But like Drewfish said we couldn't help ourselves!
Fished from 7:30am till 2:00pm with my buddy Ian aboard for limits of trouts(10) with most falling for the 3in BigHammers in either straight pearl or pepper trout colors, fished on straight tied 4 or 6lb line way back.
It was the toughest day I have seen up there all year, with wind making it almost impossible to keep it under 2.5knots (gps)with my 24ftr! No specific hotspots, we caught our fish all over the lake, and genrally fished where could get out of the wind.
By the time we got off the lake it was blowing 20 steady with higher gusts!....Capt Larry...
