Hey Bank,
I went TUES. 3-9-04. First, I hit 180th (I think?). I usually know by sight because of some dirt roads I take to get there.
I have the 2 pole stamp so I rigged 1 up for cats & set 1 up for stripers. While I was casting a bucktail jig I had a good double-thump bite on my other cat pole. I was hoping it would hook itself but nope. Got no bites after that. Fished there for about 2 hrs. I decided to hit 300th because it's reliable for the most part. Smaller fish but more around. I set up for cats only & 7 min. later a dink striper. See what I mean? He hit a nightcrawler. Then, I move to another spot & got a 16 in. cat. They ARE skinny right now! No belly really. Little meat too. They were both released.
Maybe next weekend (3-20-04) we can meet somewhere along the duct. What's your favorite spot?
