There is now a new feature on the AB 2280 website. You can electronically email a Senate version of the AB 2280 support letter. The letter is also copied to the Governor and DFG Director Ryan Broddrick.

The bill is scheduled to be heard in the Senate Natural Resources and Wildlife Committee on June 29th. If passed, it will go to the Senate Appropriations Committee. It then would go to the Senate floor for final vote.

Anglers need to send these support letters to let the different Senators know that this is an important issue to anglers and other interested parties.

On my lunch break, I sent support letters to all the Senators on the electronic email feature. This took me 5-10 minutes. Please take some time and send support letters (email). So far, the bill has passed every Assembly vote because of all of our support letters and because of other lobbying efforts.
