Welcome to the area, I am in the North part of San Luis County, here is a run down as I know it of the lakes around here....
Lopez: Heard of some nice size Bass being caught, using jigs is the main bait, I would also be throwing cranks and drop shoting. They have just started planting trout, so a swimbait is always a good thing to have with you.
Santa Margarita: Don't know if you have a boat, but the launch ramps are closed due to low water levels. Again the jig is in here. also try drop shoting a senko. I would also say swimbaits here. (I caught my personal best here on an Osprey)Even though there have not been any trout plants this year.
Nacieimento: Jigs again....and drop shoting robo worms. I have been fishing here a lot the last couple of weeks, its one lake in the area that you can catch spotted bass all day long....
San Antonio Lake: I have read alot about people catching Stripers using frozen bait by the dam. Harris creek is a great spot to look for Large Mouth and small Mouth. This is a good chartreuse colored crank bait lake. I would also have the Jig goin.
With all these I would have a split shot rig ready. Drop shotting is a gimme on all these also.
