Went to the Mendota Slough Wednesday. We got out of there kinda late and it was hot, but the bass were active. I caught three 2-3lbs each and my partner caught two. A lot of surfacing fish chasing minows. Even though our numbers were low we had a lot of missed hits and saw many fish.
