Well as many of you know in October there was a meeting regarding the fixing of the San Pablo Reservoir Dam. Well the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) was released last week, all 330 pages of it.

It seems like during construction they want to keep the lake open at the reduced water level that it has been for the last year or so. The construction would take 2 years during which time the lake would be open for fishing, boating, and whatever else.

The proposed project has most of the construction happening on the downstream side of the dam with the borrow area for the construction being an area in Scow Canyon.
