Matt and I went for an evening trip to the lake since it's been mostly an early/late bite lately. We decided to<BR> fish Jackass Canyon early and then move over by White Oak for the topwater action later. In Jackass I landed<BR> one fish about 2lb on the 7" ac minnow on the rocky point but that was all. Matt got bit on a bass assassin in<BR> a side cove but didn't connect. So as it got dark we moved to White Oak and fished some topwater. Matt<BR> got a nice one on a buzzbait over the weedbeds and I caught a dink on a popper working down a long<BR> shallow cove. Along the other side we each farmed a fish on the mossmaster frog, Matt got another good<BR> one on the buzzbait and I farmed one on topwater. My trolling motor was giving my grief so that was<BR> annoying and at 8:33 to be exact Mr. Ranger came by and we were told we had to be off the water.
