#3309, "Sarl report for 3/14"
Thu Mar-14-02 02:47 PM

Awaited the gate to open at 3:30am. Crowd was light upon arrival to line. Gate opened at 5:30am. Hit the bubble hole. Had a heavy hitter, as the bobber dropped slowly, then "bendo" on the pole! The lloyd spit the hook on set! )*&%$! Thereafter, nothging for 5 hours. Moved to La Palma point. Hookup right away, but "rat"! Then nothing. Moved to kids lake near the spillway. Immediate hookup, "rat" then nothing. The guy next to me hooked up a 5lb thunder trout, and another 3lb rainbow back to back. According to other anglers, the kids lake was the ticket, I guess that's why everyone rushed the kids lake in the morning. There was not a spot open until 12 noon. Of course thats when the bite shut off, or the fish ran out in the kids lake. Alot of lloyds caught, just not me! Bangin Bob is feeling some bad carma upon him, and hopefully soon it will pass! 2 trips within a few weeks, and both pretty much skunked. I guess the old saying is "once you try everything, try, try, again"...
Attched is the catch for today. :(
Bangin Bob's rating: Sarl to look sorry for BaninBob
