#3691, "The Vine"

Fished the tourney today on float tube. I was the 100th car at 3:30am. There was estimated 600 people at the lake today. Packed! Fished backend of Spring lake from yesterday. I was trolling to the spot, and Bang! fish on! 1lb'er. Hit my spot, and again the fish were banging the line like Chicken at Mc'D's! One after another, consistent for most of the morning. Most were in the 2 lb category, but for some reason nothing bigger. Some rats, gave away, and 1 bass, about 1 lb. The wind picked up around 11:30am, and the bite really shut off. Most of us, Timster, Doc, Sam, all were hooking up like fireflys! Non stop bite! I had a couple of double hookups, the 2lb'er hit like a gang buster! They run, but don't bite on the hook very hard. I lost estimated 9 trout, caught at least 15, and had a blast! Did not win the contest, but had a blast! Can't complain when you are banging them like Bangin Bob!

The season is about over for local lakes, and now deep sea fishing and High Sierras. So, keep a look out for bangin Bob, as I will be on a cattle boat, or bangin a brown in the sierras! Until next time,

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Bangin Bob rating: It was like taking candy from a baby!
