Yeah that's pretty much what I was doing -- cranking the outside weed lines and channel points (nice ambush areas). However I don't carolina rig that often and in fact I don't think I've ever used it in the delta before. Usually I use it to find how hard/soft a bottom structure is when I'm new to a lake or figuring out a pattern. Maybe I'll try carolina rigging a brush hog once the crankbait bite falls off.
