#7273, "Palomar knot strength for dropshot variation?"

I was wondering how strong the knot is if you tie a jig to the tag end where the weight would normally go. If you hook a fish on the jig, is the knot strong enough to be pulled hard from the tag end--would it break or cut itself? I would not necessarily be passing the tag back thru the above-hook's eye like normal to make it ride up and straight (unless it's better/stronger with this set-up). Thanks.
