Took one of my clients Fred and his brother Angel out to do some fishing in the west half of the bay. We first tried some rockpiles for a few Blacksmith Perch, Sculpin, Calicos and one Sheephead. We then went further west and caught almost limits of rockfish.

Here is Fred with one of the over twenty endangered Bocaccio's that we caught.

Here is angel with another of the ever so ubiquitous and some how endangered Bocaccio. Those darn fish were everywhere.

Here is Fred with one of the numerous Vermillion Rockfish that we caught.

Fortunately I was able to put my client on to a lot of fish. Hope this will result in more future business. I'm so glad that the Dramamine worked flawless.

Here is a picture of Ben "fishingdentist" from the Surfing Fishing board with a Sheephead that he caught while fishing with Jason "jscrib" and I on the Big Drum last Thursday after work. This is one of three Sheephead that were caught.

Here is Ben with his first Calico of the evening.

Jason was busy pulling Mackerel, Sheephead, Blacksmith Perch and all the Sculpin you'd want into the boat but unfortunately I didn't any picture of the surf fishing master at work on the Big Drum.

Here I am with a Calico that ate a whole frozen squid.

Here I am with a Barred Sand Bass that ate a Big Hammer plastic in the #58 Strawberry pattern.

Here is a picture of my buddy Mike with a Barred Surf Perch that he caught 2 weeks ago that started dropping babies all over the place when Mike pulled her out of the water.

Here is a picture from another recent trip with Joey "Joey805" and Josh "Team Striper" aboard the Big Drum at Santa Cruz Island a few weeks ago. Here is Jose with a backside boiler rock Calico Bass.

Here is Josh again with a Calico Bass that had a big chunk taken out of its back that obviously healed back nicely. That was a tough bass for sure.

Here is Joey with one of the many Calico Bass that he caught that day.

The bummer for me that day was having a big Yellowtail come unbutton near the end of the day on the backside of Anacapa Island, but it sure was fun pulling on the big Jack for about a minute. I know I should have posted these pictures sooner, but I guess it's better late than never.

Can't wait to go bendo in the near future. HOOK-UP!!
