#12084, "Harbor Halibut Action"

Fished with Daniel on Friday the 21, and Saturday the 22 for some mixed results.

Friday Dan and I arrived at the Harbor at about 4 pm. We had a pretty good bite on the flattys, most of them comming from the drop off on west beach. Daniel had 4 and I had 5 with an almost legal. All of the fish came on the 3 inch Wookie Wacker, and the Fast Track, the majority being taken on the Wookie.

Saturday was a lot slower. Dan and I only managed 2 fish a piece, and we really had to work for them. Most of our fish came east of the peir pretty far down the beach from where we normally fish. No legals but a bunch of solid 18 to 20 inchers. Three of them were Hammer fish and one fell to the Fast Track. We used the 3" Hammers in Wookie Wacker and Seachaser.
