#13720, "SD Bay 11-19-05"

Launched at 7am, had a few hours to kill before the Sandbass Shuffle was in full affect, so we started at the bait barge. I was crawling a TJW around. First bite of the day.

That hali was only 23.5” and weighed nearly 6lbs. For the first time in my life, I had the opportunity to use the classic phrase,... “It ain’t very long, but it sure is thick!” Fished a few other great spots but, the pickins was slim. Ended up Downtown where, again, the pickins was slim. I caught this dude.

Ran into Pesky and Mkim. About that time the wind started to breeze so we all headed up to the top of the bay.

Once we got rolling the 1.5-2lb sandies were a dime a dozen.

You’ll see that life is a frolic, and laughter is calling for you, down on our rendezvous….

Here’s Pescador with one. These guys pretty much had a perpetual bendo.

Double hook ups were the rule and we even had a triple at on point.

Iggy Pop and Ziggy Fishdust.

Drew was drop shotting and racking up the numbers all day. Here’s a couple creatures he caught some plastic razor clams I made.

Limited(that’s his name) hooked a nice at the end of the day. Unfortunately, his reel exploded mid battle.

Here’s the dude that broke it. He was hand lined in.

No toads today but, easy action on the mid-sized stuff. Got my first TJW hali and avoided hooking sailboats all day. That is all.
