Took the kids back to West Beach with my brother Greg yesterday evening. We caught a few short halibut and then we were joined by Bryan who proceeded to teach us how to fish for halibut. Not sure what it was but he was hooking up considerably more than we were. Not quite as wide open as last week but they are still there and they are still biting. All fish caught on 3 inch Big Hammers with Pro-Cure Krill or Sand Shrimp gel. Colors used: Sara's Trout, City Shrimp, Pierce's Perch. Bryan stuck to Pierce's Perch for all his fish. In fact, I think it was the same lure.
