Snail,
I use freshwater worms and grubs when Im fishing them weedless. The shad style swimbaits are too thick. The old WHAM lures and Mogambo Grubs would work fine, maybe Ill even try a crawfish or a moptop next time. Well, basically you tye a hook just below a worm weight(like a sliding egg sinker but cone shaped) so it looks like a regular jighead. Then you slide the hook through the body of the worm and then back out past the 3rd or 4th thread, unless its a long worm, then you could probly pull it through on the 7th or eighth thread and then you just stick the point of the hook back in so no weeds can snag on it.
