it was weird, I fished Strands in DP, I think the algae ate all the fish. I fished the little grubs in the corner at point, nothing but algae. No perch, no corbs, no leopard sharks, no bat rays. No calicos on the standard Halloween Fishtrap. Actually, there were no little hotties hanging at stairs, either. No old men with grape smugglers from the Ritz when I walked down to Creek. No spongers at middles. No kooky kids from Aliso Viejo who can't even turn on a rail and do a proper cutback trying to ollie over the missing spongers. No Dennis at Turks. Watch out for that algae-
(I did not write this, the algae made me do it)

I think the WSB at Cat are sponsoring the algae, they are there in numbers
